For the Foundation’s president, Elena Bulfone, it will be an excellent opportunity for the growth of the young people, who will also feel involved in this major sporting event dedicated to teenagers aged 14 to 18. This important collaboration is part of the overall project of the EYOF Lignano 2027 organizing committee, as stated by Executive President, Giorgio Brandolin. One of our missions is to broaden the audience of players on the field as much as possible, seeking to involve many regional organizations in this great celebration of youth sports. The initiatives we will implement will focus primarily on inclusion, respect, and friendship, promoting the healthy principles of sport.
The ProgettoAutismo FVG Foundation provides support to families with a member with autism, pervasive developmental disorders, or Asperger’s syndrome. In September 2025, the foundation stone was laid for the “Enzo Cainero” cohousing village, where children will be able to live alongside their parents in a safe, dignified, and inclusive environment, and where families can finally feel supported and at peace.
The ProgettoAutismo Foundation headquarters in Feletto Umberto, following a major renovation, has become a multipurpose center dedicated to the semi-residential reception of people with autism, meeting social housing criteria and accessible to people with autism. The house extends over three floors, covering 2,700 square meters, as well as nearly 5,000 square meters of greenery and outdoor space. To date, nearly 100 families, 50 staff, and 50 volunteers are involved in the various activities and initiatives.
Elena Bulfone has been named “Friuli Personality of the Year 2025”. This award is designed to recognize all those who have distinguished themselves locally, and is organized by the cultural association Round Table 24, in collaboration with FriuliOggi.it, with the support of CiviBank and Shi-s.
