Swimming
Swimming is an aquatic sport in which athletes compete individually or in teams, moving through the water using four strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Competitions take place in a 50-meter pool divided into lanes. Relay events are also included, where each athlete swims a segment of the race. Swimming is one of the oldest sports and has been part of the Olympic Games since the first modern edition in 1896, becoming over time one of the most spectacular and widely followed disciplines.
